We arrived in Linz, Austria after a long flight. Our flight left Halifax at 18:45 on Friday evening and we arrived in Linz at about 15:00 on Saturday. Linz seems like a nice city to visit, but we were too tired to do much. Our Hotel, the Radisson Park Inn, is located one block from the main pedestrian area. We walked over to the main street and the walked down it until we reached the Danube. Lots of sidewalk cafes and shops selling fancy ice cream.
The river is no longer flooding, but the current is strong. There does not seem to be any traffic on the river. I wonder if it is still closed to commercial navigation.
We start our cycling tour tomorrow, Sunday.
